Wuhan Hospital is a general hospital and Farfly is honoured to be the hospital's flooring of choice. The hospital requires anti-bacterial, non-slip, wear-resistant, and easy-to-clean flooring materials to meet the high standards of the medical environment. After many comparisons, the hospital finally chose medical vinyl homogeneous flooring as the flooring material.

Choice of material

Farfly chose a homogeneous floor covering from the Bonaire range. This homogeneous floor covering has a UV finish. In addition to being extremely matt and scratch-resistant, the flooring is resistant to most chemicals Farfly chose a light grey with a dark grey range to enhance the bright atmosphere of the building. The benefits of this vinyl flooring, in addition to its pressure-resistant qualities, are its pleasant walking sound and soft touch.

Farfly customised the iodine-resistant flooring for the Wuhan hospital, which will reduce the stress of cleaning during daily work.

Notes on construction

When the floor arrived at the project site, the workers unfolded the floor and laid it flat for 2 days. This allowed the floor to fully adapt to the ambient temperature.

In addition, Farfly considered the anti-bacterial effect of the flooring, so instructed the installation team to install the flooring on the wall, about 10cm high. This allowed the floor to form a seamless connection with the ground. This allows for the best antibacterial and stain-resistant results.

After the installation, the installation team was instructed to carry out thorough disinfection and waxing to ensure compliance with hospital health standards.

Through the scientific construction process and strict quality control, Farfly's homogeneous flooring was successfully applied to the hospital, meeting the high requirements of the medical environment, improving the overall environmental quality and gaining high recognition from the hospital.
