FARFLY Exhibition Review | KazBuild 2026: From On-Site Discussions to Project Delivery

FARFLY booth at KazBuild 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan

FARFLY concluded its participation in KazBuild 2026 on September 4, 2026. During the exhibition at Hall 9, Booth 9-539, our team met with project contractors, distributors, procurement teams and facility owners to discuss current flooring requirements and potential cooperation.
FARFLY (Wuxi Tefa Decoration Material Co., Ltd.) is a Project-Focused Resilient Flooring Provider for Healthcare, Sports Venues & High-Specification Environments. Our participation focused on three core solution areas: hospital and medical flooring, sports flooring, and other high-specification flooring for critical and demanding environments.
At the exhibition, we presented more than PVC flooring samples and product catalogues. We discussed application-driven product selection, product-specific compliance documentation, customized product development, auxiliary-material coordination, installation support and reliable delivery planning.
For project customers, this approach can shorten the time required to compare products and verify technical information. It can also reduce the costs and risks caused by incorrect product selection, missing accessories, repeated procurement, installation rework and delivery delays.

What Happened at KazBuild 2026?

KazBuild 2026 took place from September 2 to 4 at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
According to the official post-event announcement, KazBuild 2026 brought together 411 companies from 27 countries, including 161 first-time exhibitors. KazBuild and Aquatherm Almaty, which were held at the same time, jointly featured 631 companies from 34 countries and attracted 8,578 professional visitors.
Before the exhibition, FARFLY published its KazBuild 2026 exhibition preview to explain why we were participating. Our objective was to understand the actual requirements of customers serving Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian market and to discuss cooperation based on compliance, delivery and project success.
The discussions at KazBuild confirmed that flooring customers need more than a product quotation. They need to know whether the proposed flooring is suitable for the application, whether the test reports correspond to the exact product and model, whether the supply plan can support the construction schedule, and who will coordinate the response if a problem occurs.
During and after KazBuild 2026, FARFLY shared the short exhibition video on Facebook and YouTube Shorts. The video gives customers who could not attend the exhibition a direct view of FARFLY’s on-site presence and activities. Additional product-selection, installation and flooring application content is available through the FARFLY Video Centre.

What Flooring Solutions Did FARFLY Discuss at KazBuild 2026?

FARFLY organizes its solutions around actual applications. Instead of asking customers to begin with an isolated product name, we first review what the project must achieve.
At KazBuild 2026, our discussions covered three core areas: Healthcare Flooring Solutions, Sports Flooring Solutions and High-Specification Environments.

What Flooring Requirements Should Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities Consider?

Flooring requirements vary across hospital corridors, patient rooms, consultation rooms, operating areas, laboratories, imaging rooms, equipment areas and public healthcare spaces.
When selecting hospital flooring and medical flooring, project teams may need to evaluate:
  • Heavy pedestrian traffic
  • Hospital beds, wheelchairs, medical carts and rolling loads
  • Staining and chemical resistance
  • Frequent cleaning and disinfection
  • Slip resistance
  • Seam welding and floor-to-wall coving
  • Static control requirements
  • Long-term maintenance and lifecycle costs
  • Technical documentation for material submittals and project acceptance
Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring may be considered for many high-traffic healthcare areas because its structure can support durability and practical maintenance. However, the proposed product must still be evaluated against the function of the room, the project specification and the available product-specific documentation.
Operating rooms, medical equipment areas and other technically sensitive spaces may have additional static-control requirements. These areas require separate evaluation of the specified resistance range, conductive or static-dissipative performance, conductive adhesive, copper foil, grounding design, installation method and post-installation testing.
FARFLY separates healthcare facilities into actual application areas instead of using one product for every room. This helps contractors and facility owners select the right flooring for each space while coordinating flooring, adhesives, welding rods, skirting and installation accessories as one manageable system.

What Sports Flooring Requirements Should Venue Owners Evaluate?

Sports Flooring should be selected according to the venue type, sport, frequency of use, player level, installation method and operating plan.
Professional venues, badminton clubs, schools, gymnasiums, training facilities and multi-sport spaces may require different levels of:
  • Shock absorption
  • Surface friction
  • Ball rebound
  • Vertical deformation
  • Wear resistance
  • Dimensional stability
  • Court colours and line markings
  • Portable or permanent installation
  • Performance documentation and certification
For badminton court flooring, customers should also consider whether the court will be used for recreational play, professional training or competition. Where BWF certified flooring is required, FARFLY can review the available certification and performance documentation for the specific product under consideration. Certification availability should be confirmed by product, model and required BWF grade.
The Northside Badminton Centre project in Brisbane, Australia shows how FARFLY supports a sports venue beyond the supply of flooring rolls. For the 1,300 m² project, FARFLY coordinated 6mm composite-process PVC badminton flooring, adhesive, welding rods, installation tools and badminton nets.
Because the local installation team had limited experience with PVC sports flooring, FARFLY also provided non-saleable practice materials free of charge. The installers could practise cutting, adhesive application, seam grooving and heat welding before working with the official project materials.
This preparation helped reduce material waste and rework risk. For a commercial sports venue, better installation readiness can also support an earlier opening date and create an earlier opportunity to begin court bookings, coaching and event operations.

What Is Included in High-Specification Environments?

High-Specification Environments include cleanrooms, electronics and pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, static-sensitive areas, aviation and transportation projects, and commercial or public buildings with demanding requirements for performance, safety, maintenance or compliance documentation.
The related solution areas include:
  • Cleanroom Solutions
  • Static Control Solutions
  • Aviation & Transport Solutions
  • Commercial & Public Building Solutions
ESD flooring and anti-static flooring are part of FARFLY’s High-Specification Environments offering. They are not positioned as a separate core application area alongside healthcare and sports.
For electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical facilities, cleanrooms and precision-equipment spaces, flooring selection may require more than a resistance value. Project teams should also evaluate grounding design, conductive adhesive, copper foil, equipment wheels, personnel footwear, subfloor conditions, installation procedures and post-installation testing. FARFLY’s guide to how ESD vinyl flooring works provides further information about the complete static-control flooring system.
Aviation and transportation projects may place greater emphasis on weight, fire performance, wear resistance, cleaning and the operating conditions inside the vehicle or aircraft. Demanding commercial and public buildings may focus on durability, maintenance efficiency, design coordination and lifecycle cost.
FARFLY reviews these conditions before recommending a product direction. This helps customers avoid purchasing decisions based only on a product label or a single technical parameter.

What Project Questions Did Customers Discuss with FARFLY?

Discussions at KazBuild 2026 addressed several questions that directly affect procurement and project execution:
  • Is the flooring suitable for the actual application?
  • Are the technical parameters supported by test data?
  • Do the test reports correspond to the proposed product and model?
  • Can FARFLY support tender documents, material submittals and project approval?
  • Can flooring, adhesives, welding rods, copper foil and installation tools be supplied together?
  • Can different products, colours and accessories be combined in one shipment?
  • Can non-standard colours, structures or performance requirements be developed?
  • What support is available when experienced local PVC flooring installers are limited?
  • Can production and delivery meet the project schedule?
  • Who will coordinate the response if a product, document or installation issue occurs?
The flooring price is only one part of the total project cost. An unsuitable product, incomplete documentation, incompatible accessories or a delayed shipment can create additional communication costs, approval delays, rework and schedule losses.
Through its technical support, quality control, training and logistics services, FARFLY helps contractors, distributors and facility owners reduce uncertainty through application-based flooring selection, technical documentation support, stable supply and project-focused service.
Our typical support path is:
Application Requirement → Product Direction → Technical Parameter Matching → Available Test Reports → Sample or Custom Development → Supply and Delivery Plan
This process gives customers a clearer path from the initial requirement to a deliverable flooring solution. It also allows them to spend less time coordinating separate suppliers and more time managing the project, developing their market and serving their own customers.

Which International Projects Reflect the Requirements Discussed at KazBuild 2026?

FARFLY’s international flooring projects show how product selection, documentation, auxiliary materials, installation and delivery work together in actual applications.

How Did FARFLY Support the Hospital Flooring Project in Samarkand?

In Uzbekistan, a neighbouring Central Asian market, FARFLY supported the development of a 12,600 m² hospital flooring package in Samarkand.
The proposed solution included approximately 10,000 m² of Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring for general hospital areas and patient wards, together with approximately 2,000 m² of anti-static PVC flooring for operating rooms. Compatible welding rods and flooring adhesive were also included.
Instead of treating the entire hospital as one application, FARFLY separated general healthcare areas from technically sensitive operating-room spaces. We also helped organize the available product, export and transportation documentation required for the international supply process.
This approach reduced the amount of separate coordination required from the customer and made the hospital flooring package easier to review and manage.

How Did FARFLY Support the Jo Ann University Hospital Project in Georgia?

For the Jo Ann University Hospital project in Tbilisi, Georgia, FARFLY delivered a coordinated flooring solution covering approximately 15,000 m².
The project mainly used 2.0mm Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring in multiple colours. The supply scope also included adhesives, welding rods, backing materials, self-leveling cement, primer, installation tools and other supporting materials.
Because experienced resilient flooring installers were difficult to source locally, FARFLY dispatched an installation team from China to the project site. The work included subfloor inspection, primer application, self-leveling treatment, adhesive application, flooring installation, seam grooving, heat welding and floor-to-wall coving.
By coordinating products, auxiliary materials, technical communication, logistics and installation, FARFLY helped the contractor reduce the risks created by managing several separate suppliers and construction teams.

What Flooring System Did FARFLY Supply for Hospital del Altiplano in Peru?

For the Hospital del Altiplano project in Puno, Peru, FARFLY supplied a flooring material package that included Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring, PVC ESD flooring, flooring adhesive, wall adhesive, conductive adhesive, welding rods, copper foil, installation tools and related accessories.
FARFLY also supported tender documentation, technical parameter preparation, online project meetings and written follow-up for questions raised by the project team.
Some required accessories were not available in standard specifications. FARFLY therefore supported customized mould development for specific floor-to-wall installation components.
Coordinating the main flooring, adhesives, copper foil, welding rods, tools and customized accessories through one project-focused supplier helped the customer reduce sourcing complexity and improve installation readiness.
These projects cover Central Asia, the South Caucasus and South America. Their locations and technical requirements differ, but they share one practical requirement: products, documents, accessories, installation and delivery must be managed as a complete flooring system.
FARFLY helps connect these elements so that the path from product selection to project delivery becomes clearer, more verifiable and easier to manage.

Why Did Compliance Documentation Remain Important at the Exhibition?

For hospital flooring, sports flooring and other high-specification flooring projects, a test report becomes useful only when it is connected to the exact product, model, test method and project requirement.
FARFLY has developed a compliance evidence system supported by more than 399 product testing and certification records. Depending on the selected product and target market, customers can review available information through the FARFLY Test Reports Centre. Additional support may include technical data, certificates, installation guidance and maintenance information.
The recent FARFLY Compliance Update for Homogeneous ESD PVC Flooring Tile presents product-specific test results covering Resistance to Ground, Surface Resistance, Surface Electrostatic Voltage, Staining and Resistance to Chemicals, and ten RoHS-related restricted substances.
This is one example within FARFLY’s High-Specification Environments offering. It demonstrates how test data can support product selection, technical review, material submittals and supplier-document evaluation for electronics manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, laboratories, medical equipment areas and other static-sensitive environments.
Clear connections between products and documents can reduce report mismatches, repeated submissions and additional testing costs. They also help distributors respond to technical enquiries more efficiently.
Available reports and certificates vary by product, model and market. Customers should contact FARFLY to confirm which documents are relevant to their project.

How Will FARFLY Support Projects After KazBuild 2026?

The end of KazBuild 2026 does not mark the end of the project discussions.
FARFLY will continue following up on requirements involving hospital and medical flooring, sports flooring, and other high-specification flooring for critical and demanding environments.
Customers can provide:
  • Project location
  • Application areas
  • Project size
  • Required performance
  • Applicable standards
  • Subfloor and installation conditions
  • Estimated quantity
  • Required delivery date
  • Documentation and material-submittal requirements
FARFLY can then assist with:
Application Analysis → Product Recommendation → Technical Parameter and Report Matching → Sample and Colour Confirmation → Accessories and Installation Planning → Quotation → Production and Delivery Plan
Our project support services can include product selection, samples, product-specific test report matching, customized product development, welding rod and adhesive coordination, installation guidance, mixed-container planning, export documentation and logistics support.
Bringing these activities into one project-focused supply process can reduce communication steps, missing materials and unclear responsibilities. It can also help contractors and distributors prepare complete quotations more quickly, support project approval and protect their margins from avoidable rework and delays.
